Charges filed against Oswego County suspect following alleged burglary in Greig: NYSP

GREIG- An Oswego County resident is faced with both felony and misdemeanor charges following a reported burglary this week in the North Country.

Dylon R. Brand, 32, of Hannibal, NY was arrested by the New York State Police (Lowville) on Monday afternoon for one felony count of burglary in the third-degree (illegal entry w/intent to commit a crime); along with one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief (intent to damage property) and obstructing governmental administration in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges all stem from a reported burglary in progress Monday afternoon in the town of Greig, Lewis County.

At press time, Brand’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
