Deputies arrest and charge Boonville resident in wake of alleged domestic dispute

BOONVILLE- A domestic incident Monday has resulted in the arrest of a local resident, police say. 

Shawn M. Hutchins, 34, of Boonville, NY is officially charged by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree and one violation of harassment in the second-degree.

According to authorities, Deputies were dispatched to an address on E Schuyler Street. Subsequent investigation has resulted in the charges filed against Hutchins.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Oneida County Jail to await arraignment.

Details regarding the alleged dispute were not revealed by police.
