BOONVILLE- A resident from Oneonta, NY is faced with charges, including a felony, after police investigated a domestic incident last week in Northern Oneida County.

Rick L. Spann, 42, was charged by the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree; one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree and aggravated harassment in the second-degree.

According to Sheriff’s Deputies, these charges stem from a domestic complaint on January 30 in the village of Boonville, NY.

Specifically, deputies determined that there was an active stay away order, which was in place to protect a female party.

Following processing and arraignment, Spann was remanded to the County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.
