Domestic dispute in Herkimer County results in felony, misdemeanor charges against local resident: NYSP

POLAND- A local resident in Herkimer County is faced with both felony and misdemeanor charges in the wake of a reported domestic dispute over the weekend.

On Sunday evening, the New York State Police (Herkimer) arrested and charged Shaun McKerrow, 43, of Poland, NY with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree (property damage amount > $250), along with one misdemeanor count each of acting in a manner injurious to a child (under 17) and criminal obstruction of breathing.

According to Troopers, these charges all stem from a domestic dispute, which was reported in the village of Poland, NY last Saturday morning.

At press time, police said that McKerrow’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
