EMERGENCY RESPONDERS: Snowmobile collides with tree in town of Forestport

FORESTPORT- Emergency responders were called out to the scene of a snowmobile accident over the weekend in Northern Oneida County.

It happened on the Walnut Road in the town of Forestport shortly before noontime on Sunday, according to Oneida County 9-1-1 Emergency Dispatch.

Woodgate was the primary fire department on scene, with Otter Lake and Old Forge Ambulance providing assistance.

Dispatchers confirmed there was a snowmobile that crashed into a tree, but specifics regarding any possible injuries were not mentioned at press time.

Members from the Sheriff’s Office and State Police responded.
