WEBB- A motorcycle operator who reportedly fled from police at a high-rate of speed has been caught and charged, authorities say.
Noah R. Donovan, 22, of Boonville, NY was arrested late Sunday by the Town of Webb Police Department. He is officially charged with unlawfully fleeing police in the third-degree; interfering with safe operation; failing to comply; unregistered motorcycle; driving left of pavement markings; following too closely; improper passing; driving to the left on a curve; reckless driving and speeds over 55-mph.
According to Chief of Police Ron Johnston, Donovan was reportedly encountered by officers on patrol along State Route 28. It's alleged that he was clocked heading south at 105-mph.
Officers did attempt a traffic stop, but Donovan did not comply, investigators said.
Due to safety concerns, a chase was not ensued, however; investigation revealed Donovan to be the alleged operator.
He was processed and released with appearance tickets, all returnable to Webb Town Court at a later date.
