Felony DWI, unlicensed operation charges filed against local resident following property damage wreck in Lee

LEE- A property damage wreck in Oneida County has resulted in felony charges against a local resident.

On Monday afternoon, the New York State Police (Lee) arrested and charged Paul Rebe, 74, of Lee Center, NY with one felony count each of DWI (previous conviction within ten-years), operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater w/previous offense) and aggravated unlicensed operation in the first-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges all stem from a reported property damage wreck shortly before 1:00 p.m. on the Hawkins Corners Road, town of Lee.

No injuries were reported. At press time, police said that Rebe was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
