Forestport Woman Accused of Causing Injury to a Child under 7

TOWN OF FORESTPORT-A 26 year old Forestport woman was jailed Friday following an investigation into a report of a burn injury that occurred in the Town of Forestport in March of this year. New York State Police from the Remsen Barracks charged Nicole E. Lighthall with one count each of Assault Causing Injury to a Person under 7 years of age, a Class D felony and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child under 17, a Class A misdemeanor. Lighthall’s arrest status was listed as held as of press time. No bail amount was listed.
