Grand larceny, identify theft case in Holland Patent results in arrest of Mohawk Valley area suspect, Troopers say

HOLLAND PATENT- A Mohawk Valley area resident is faced with a pair of charges, including a felony, stemming from a larceny complaint locally in Oneida County, authorities say.

Timothy J. Carman, 42, of Utica, NY was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Marcy). Carman is formally charged with one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree (credit card) and one misdemeanor count of identity theft in the third-degree (obtaining goods).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a larceny case in Holland Patent, which was reported in March, 2023.

At press time, police said Carman was released.
