
PORT LEYDEN- A local North Country resident is accused of disobeying a court order, following a police investigation into a harassment complaint this week in southern Lewis County.
David A. Gerdon, 29, of Lowville, NY was arrested Thursday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). Gerdon is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobey court order).
According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a harassment complaint earlier that same afternoon in the village of Port Leyden, NY.
At press time, police said that Gerdon’s arrest status suggested a bail/bond amount of $200.
