Harrisville Health Center to open Wednesday, August 28, with open house aimed for early October

LEWIS COUNTY- Lewis County Health System is pleased to announce that its Harrisville Family Health Center is aimed to open Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

“We are pleased to be able to provide patients in the Harrisville area with local access to health care,” said LCHS CEO Gerry R. Cayer.

The health center will be open under regular hours Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be staffed by a Physician Assistant, an LPN and a Physician Office Assistant.

R. Brian Shambo will serve as Medical Director of the clinic.

An official open house is aimed for some time in early October.

"This would not have been possible without the support of the Hospital Board of Managers, Town of Diana, Legislator Herb Frost and former Legislator Phil Hathway,” Cayer added.
