Harrisville Man Accused of D.W.I. and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation
TOWN OF WILNA-A 56 year old Harrisville man is facing D.W.I. charges following a Friday afternoon vehicle stop in the Town of Wilna. New York State Police from the Carthage Barracks charged Michael Alan Benware with one count each of Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1 Percent of more in Blood-First Offense, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree: all Class U misdemeanors. Benware was released to a third party and the incident was “pending investigation” as of Saturday morning’s press time.
