Injuries reported following Monday accident involving two vehicles near Trenton

ONEIDA COUNTY- A personal injury accident Monday, involving two vehicles w/an entrapment, prompted a response from emergency agencies in Oneida County.

It happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 365 and Taylor Road in the town of Trenton, according to Oneida County Emergency Dispatch.

Barneveld Fire Chief Kevin Kalk says there was a collision between two vehicles. One victim was trapped, but was extracted from the wreckage, emergency responders said.

Although no specific number was provided, officials said there were ‘patients’ taken from the scene by STaR and Kuyahoora Ambulance. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.

New York State Police responded to assist.
