Interview: DEC Wildlife Biologist Steve Heerkens talks North Country Whitetail Deer population

Hunting season is certainly in full swing across the North Country.

Although extremely mild temperatures seem to have hunters grumbling, the New York State DEC says when Mother Nature does cool off, and hopefully before too long, there should be plenty of Whitetail Deer to target while afield.
