Boonville Snowfest 2023 2

BOONVILLE- Thank you. That is what the Boonville Snow Festival II Committee would like to say to everyone who helped make this year's racing weekend another big success.

"It was a great show," said festival spokesperson Susan Alger. "I'd like to thank everyone who was involved and we will be planning the 2024 races very soon."

Listen to our latest on-air coverage with Susan Alger for her complete remarks:

It was a nail-biter leading into this year's races because, once again, Mother Nature was a little iffy in terms of weather conditions.

The Boonville Snow Festival II has had a rough go at times with unfavorable and unsafe weather conditions. Over the past few years, there have been numerous cases where the festival had to postpone or cancel altogether.

In 2021, COVID regulations at the time prevented such an event from taking place. In 2022, border issues with Canada, still concerning COVID regulations, hindered the festival from another year of racing.

For 2023, Alger and the Snow Festival committee are thankful they were able to pull it off.

We will share updates that develop concerning dates for 2024.
