LEWIS COUNTY- This year marks the inauguration of a brand-new trail that can get you to and from Tug Hill and the Adirondacks.

"Through the cooperation with some amazing landowners in our area and then also through receiving a grant from the Yamaha Outdoor Access Initiative, we've been able to build a new snowmobile trail this year," said Chris Skipper, President of Turin Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club.

"We partnered with Brantingham Snomads to build this trail." It's nearly six-miles long and has very scenic views, Skipper told us.

The trail has been designated as C5K and serves as another connection to get from the Adirondacks to Tug Hill. "You very often hear about trails leaving the area, but it's nice to see a new one added."
