WEBB- The man from the Western Adirondacks region, accused of a felony spying offense, is actually the Town of Webb Assessor.
We originally aired Monday the arrest of Justin Masters, 47, of Old Forge, NY. State Police officially charged him with felony eavesdropping.
According to the latest updates from WKTV, Masters allegedly placed a camera and recorded employees in their office, which is reportedly illegal.
The original complaint was filed December 16, with the arrest taking place last Friday.
Officials told reporters that Masters is still employed with the town and there are no details (as of this report) from investigators that suggest the charge has any correlation with Masters’ position as the Webb Town Assessor.
