JEFFERSON COUNTY- Authorities are investigating a stabbing case in the North Country, where a local resident suffered “serious” injuries.
It happened on Monday in Carthage, NY, according to its Village Police Department. As of this publication, details remain limited, but investigators say a 48-year-old male was stabbed in the chest.
The incident occurred at 600 South Washington Street. The male victim was stabilized at a local hospital before being transferred to SUNY Upstate Medical Center, where he was last listed in stable condition.
