Jefferson county property damage wreck leads to DWI arrest, Troopers say

CHAMPION- A property damage wreck during the early hours Friday in Jefferson County has resulted in a DWI arrest.

Sometime shortly after 1:00 a.m., the New York State Police (Carthage) arrested and charged Angela Marie Kloss, 44, of Carthage, NY with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, these charge stem from a reported property damage crash, which occurred shortly after midnight on County Route 47 in the town of Champion.

No injuries were reported at press time. Meanwhile, police said that Kloss was released to a third party.
