
LOWVILLE- Those needing to access the Lowville Hospital must do so from the Number Three Road entrance, at-least for the time being.
According to numerous officials from LCHS, a washout has been reported out towards the front entrance, along State Route 26.
This development surfaces amidst another torrential rainstorm Monday morning, which has caused yet more flooding throughout the village.
As of 11:15 a.m., all village streets and roadways have re-opened, officials confirmed.
Furthermore, Lowville Academy Superintendent of Schools, Rebecca Dunckel, confirmed with us Monday morning that the turf fields and playgrounds had flooded, again, while also mentioning reports of water overflowing into the school.
Lowville Mayor Joseph Beagle declared a State of Emergency Monday morning, however; the no unnecessary travel advisory for the village has since been lifted.
