LCSO: Local resident accused of possessing and distributing child pornography

TURIN- A local resident is accused of possessing and distributing child pornography in Lewis County, authorities are reporting.

Kira J. Partridge, 21, of Turin, NY was arrested Friday by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Partridge is formally charged with one felony count each of possessing a sexual performance by a child (less than 17) and promoting a sexual performance by a child (less than 17), along with one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Investigators allege that Partridge sent numerous sexually explicit images to a 12-year-old juvenile, while also receiving sexually explicit images from the child.

Following processing at the Public Safety Building, Partridge was arraigned in Lewis County CAP Court and then remanded to the County Jail on $500 bail and $1,000 bond.
