LCSO: Local resident arrested for allegedly failing to update status with sex offender registry

LOWVILLE- A Lewis County resident is faced with a felony charge for allegedly failing to update their status with the sex offender registry, according to authorities.

Kevin S. Lobdell, 41, of Croghan, NY was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday for one felony count of failing to update/register as a sex offender (within 90-days).

At press time, investigators did not provide any details explaining the case further.

Lobdell was arraigned in Lewis County Court and remanded to the county jail, without bail.
