INLET- An injured hiker was rescued from a local mountain trail in the Western Adirondacks last-week, emergency responders say.
It happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. on August 13in the town of Inlet. Forest Rangers received reports from dispatch regarding a hiker, who suffered from an ankle injury about half-way up the Rocky Mountain Trail.
Rangers McCartney, Nahor and Pelrah responded with members of Inlet Fire Department.
The 51-year-old from Brooklyn, NY was assisted off from the mountain to an awaiting ambulance There were no further details provided.
