Lewis County fraud investigation results in criminal impersonation charge against local resident

WATSON- A reported fraud case last fall in Lewis County has resulted in the arrest of a North Country area resident.

Nicole L. Plantz, 30, of Glenfield, NY was arrested early Thursday by the New York State Police (Lowville) for one misdemeanor count of criminal impersonation in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, this charge stems from a town of Watson fraud investigation that began last November.

At press time, authorities said that Plantz was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
