Lewis County resident accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance, Troopers say

PARISHVILLE- A local resident is accused of a drug possession charge in St. Lawrence County, authorities say.

MacKenzie R. Hooley, 35, of Lowville, NY was arrested early Sunday by the New York State Police (Massena). Hooley is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

Troopers say the arrest was made in the town of Parishville.

At press time, police said Hooley was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
