Lowville resident registers BAC twice over legal limit following arrest in Greig

GREIG- A Lewis County resident is accused of intoxicated driving and having a BAC over twice the legal limit, according to authorities.

Hunter M. Fenton, 27, of Lowville, NY is charged with aggravated DWI. Fenton was arrested by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office in the town of Greig shortly after 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

Deputies allege that Fenton was parked and facing south in the middle of Greig Road. When approached, Deputies said Fenton appeared intoxicated.

After reportedly failing field sobriety tests on scene, Fenton was taken to the Public Safety Building and processed.

While there, it’s reported that Fenton registered a .21% BAC.

Fenton was released with appearance tickets.
