North Country man facing swath of menacing charges: NYSP Lowville

WILNA- A North Country man is faced with menacing charges that stem from an arrest in Jefferson County, authorities say.

David E. Paige, 33, of Carthage, NY was arrested Friday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). He is formally charged with three felony counts of criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree (previous conviction), along with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree and criminally possessing a rapid fire modification device.

According to Troopers, these charges were all issued in the town of Wilna on Friday.

At press time, Paige’s arrest status was listed as bail/bond.
