Lewis County resident charged for alleged unlawful disseminating of an image and harassment

LEYDEN- A local resident is faced with a pair of accusations in Lewis County from last month.

On Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office charged Heather A. Johnson, 36, of Glenfield, NY with one misdemeanor count of unlawfully disseminating and/or publishing an intimate image, along with another violation of harassment in the second-degree.

Deputies say these charges stem from an incident that occurred in the town of Leyden on August 18.

At press time, police said that Johnson was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
