Lewis County resident charged for assault and child endangerment in Denmark, Deputies say

DENMARK- A local resident is accused of charges that stem from complaints of a domestic incident over the weekend in Lewis County, authorities say.

Aaron M. Clark, 35, of Copenhagen, NY was arrested Saturday evening by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. Clark is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of assault in the third-degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to Sheriff’s Deputies, the incident occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m. in the town of Denmark.

Following an arraignment, Clark was released with appearance tickets, which are all returnable to Denmark Town Court.

An order of protection has been filed on behalf of the victims.
