Local juvenile charged in reported Poland disturbance in June, Troopers say

POLAND- A local juvenile in Herkimer County is faced with charges that stem from disturbance complaints last spring, authorities say.

On Sunday afternoon, the New York State Police (Herkimer) arrested and charged a 15-year-old teenager, from Poland, NY, with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree (property damage value > $250) and one misdemeanor count of criminal tampering in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a disturbance report filed on June 4 in the village of Poland, NY.

A name or a gender for the teenage suspect was not provided. At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Meanwhile, the juvenile was issued with an appearance ticket and there were no further details provided.
