Ryan Piche officially takes over as new Jefferson County Administrator

WATERTOWN- Ryan Piche is expected to attend his first Board of Legislators meeting today as the new Jefferson County Administrator.

Monday marked his first official day in his new leadership position after spending the last several years serving as the Lewis County Manager.

This update is according to the latest from WWNY-TV.

He told reporters that homelessness is one of the top issues to tackle on the agenda, along with continuing efforts with establishing access to broadband internet.

In previous on-air segments with North Country News, Mr. Piche discussed ongoing projects he will soon contribute towards for Jefferson County Airport and others.

Mr. Timothy Hunt was appointed over the summer to take over as new Lewis County Manager. He served as the Superintendent of the County Highway Department.
