Local resident accused of criminal trespass in Jefferson County, Troopers say

CARTHAGE- A North Country resident is accused of trespassing in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Sarah Sheehan, 20, of West Carthage, NY was arrested early Friday by the New York State Police (Carthage). Sheehan is officially charged with one count of criminal trespass in the third-degree (enclosed property).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a trespass complaint, filed shortly after 1:00 a.m. Friday in the village of Carthage, NY.

At press time, police said Sheehan was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided to report.
