Local resident charged in wake of alleged domestic dispute in Herkimer County, Troopers say

RUSSIA- A local resident is faced with a trio of accusations that stem from a domestic incident Monday afternoon in Herkimer County, authorities say.

Philip E. Carcone, 33, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested Monday afternoon by the New York State Police (Herkimer). Carcone is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree (w/a weapon), criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property) and criminally possessing a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic dispute in the town of Russia. At press time, police said an investigation was pending, with evidence.

As of this publication, an arrest status for Carcone was not available and there were no further details provided.
