Local resident from Oneida County charged with criminally possessing controlled substance, unlicensed operation in town of Lenox

LENOX- A local resident is faced with accusations in Madison County.

On Sunday afternoon, the New York State Police (Oneida) arrested and charged Ryan Alexander Phillips, 33, of Holland Patent, NY with one count each of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

Troopers say these charges were filed in the town of Lenox.

At press time, police said that Phillips was issued with an appearance ticket.
