Local suspect accused of speeding and consuming alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle released on appearance tickets, police say

MCKEEVER- A resident from the Western Adirondacks is accused of recklessly driving, police say.

Tyler C. Kearns, 22, of Inlet, NY was arrested and charged Thursday afternoon by the Town of Webb Police Department for speeding in a 55-mph zone, reckless driving and consumption of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

According to Chief of Police Ron Johnston, officers reportedly clocked Kearns at nearly 120-mph on State Route 28 shortly before 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.

The traffic stop reportedly took place near McKeever.

Kearns was issued with appearance tickets and released to address his charges in Webb Town Court at a later date.
