Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Thursday, February 12, 2026

Our first legitimate warm up in weeks appears to be on the horizon for this middle part of February, but will it be enough to completely ruin snowmobiling and other wintertime recreation activities?
That is the million-dollar question forecasters are debating. By the looks of it, it doesn’t look like temperatures will soar way above seasonal temperatures for this time of year, but it should certainly feel warmer than it has been.
We will keep monitoring for any major or abrupt changes to the overall trail conditions. So far, trail systems throughout Central and Northern New York continue ranging from good to great!
Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Trails are shaping up to be amazing!
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails have been in good shape.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Good riding reported and groomers will be out.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails remain in good shape and groomers are going out.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Groomers continue rolling and the trails are good.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Trails have been great!
Ohio Ridge Riders: Trails remain in great shape and the groomers have been rolling.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Trails continue ranging from good to great.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Trails have been groomed this week.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails are shaping up to be superb!
Trackside Blazers: Groomers have been moving steady and the trails are good.
Turin Ridge Riders: Upper and lower trails remain good.
Valley Snow Travelers: Tug Hill and Lower trails have all been groomed this week.
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
