Lowville Man Facing Aggravated D.W.I. Charge

TOWN OF LOWVILLE-A 32 year old Lowville man was arrested for D.W.I. following a traffic stop on Route 12 in the Town of Lowville on Friday. Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputies report that Cory M. Mayer failed to keep right while operating a pickup truck east on State Route 12. Police said Mr. Mayer appeared to be intoxicated and that he failed the field sobriety tests on scene. He was transported to the Lewis County Public safety building where he reportedly registered a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%. He was subsequently charged with Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated and other traffic infractions. Mayer was processed and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Lowville Court at a later date.
