LOWVILLE- Village police say a local man, who was stopped for a traffic violation, reportedly had three-dozen suspensions on his driver's license and also had an active warrant out of Oneida County.

Last Friday, officers conducted a traffic stop on South State Street after the driver, identified as Jeremy L. Walters, 22, of Glenfield, NY committed an unspecified traffic offense.

Investigation revealed that Walters had 36 suspensions on his driver's license. According to Chief of Police Daryl R. Ortlieb, Walters also had an active warrant out of the village of Yorkville, NY.

For the traffic stop, Walters was formally charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first-degree before he was handed over to the Yorkville Police.
