Lowville Police: Man charged with harassment; court order issued on victim's behalf

LOWVILLE- A local man is accused of harassment in Lewis County, authorities say.

Village Police Chief Daryl Ortlieb says Aaron H. Marolf, 22, of Lowville, NY was charged on Saturday for second-degree harassment.

It's reported that village patrols responded to complaints of a domestic disturbance, where further details describing the nature of the alleged incident were not included.

Marolf was arraigned in New Bremen CAP Court and released to re-appear in Lowville Town Court at a later date.  

At press time, police said an order of protection was issued on the victim's behalf.
