LOWVILLE- A local resident in Lewis County is accused of fabricating harassment, according to authorities.
Joshua J. Staring, 24, of Lowville, NY was arrested on Friday by the Sheriff’s Office for two misdemeanor counts of criminal impersonation in the second-degree, along with falsely reporting an incident.
Back in August, police say that they received a harassment report from Staring from the victim of his previous crime, which would have alleged his innocence.
However, investigation proved the alleged harassment was fabricated, police said.
Staring was processed and issued with appearance tickets, which are returnable to Lowville Town Court at a later date.
