Lowville resident charged with felony grand larceny in New Bremen, Troopers say

NEW BREMEN- A local resident is faced with a felony larceny charge stemming from an investigation last month in Lewis County, authorities say.

Jessica J. McCartney, 35, of Lowville, NY was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). McCartney is formally charged with one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree (property value > $1,000).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny investigation in the town of New Bremen. The complaint was filed with authorities on November 25.

At press time, police said that an investigation was still pending.

Meanwhile, McCartney was issued with an appearance ticket and there were no further details provided.
