LPD: Village resident charged for allegedly contacting protected party in court order

LOWVILLE- A local resident is charged for violating an order of protection after allegedly contacting a protected party.

On Wednesday, the Village Police Department announced the arrest of Dustin A. Spencer, 31, of Lowville, NY. Spencer is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree.

It’s reported that Spencer sent text messages and called a protected party.

Spencer was issued with an appearance ticket and is due to appear in Lowville Town Court at a later date.
