Man charged with felony criminal contempt following alleged domestic dispute in town of Norway

NORWAY- A man from the Kuyahoora Valley area is faced with a felony offense stemming from an alleged domestic incident this week, authorities say.

David K. Coe, 29, of Poland, NY was arrested late Thursday by the New York State Police (Herkimer). He is officially charged with one felony count of criminal contempt in the first-degree (physical contact).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from complaints of a domestic dispute in the town of Norway.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Coe was released on his own recognizance and there were no additional details available to report.
