Mohawk Valley area resident charged with criminal contempt in town of Ohio, Troopers say

OHIO- A resident from the Mohawk Valley area is faced with an accusation in Herkimer County.

During the early hours on Friday, the New York State Police (Poland) arrested and charged Daniel Kornutiak, 42, of Ilion, NY with one misdemeanor count of criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a complaint filed late Thursday night in the town of Ohio.

At press time, Kornutiak’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
