State Route 26 re-opened between West Leyden and Constableville following Friday morning two car MVA

LEWIS COUNTY- The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two car crash that occurred Friday morning in the southern region of the county.

As of this publication, we are still waiting on official details from Sheriff’s Investigators. A portion of State Route 26 was closed down between West Leyden and Constableville, NY, but since has re-opened as of this report, according to 9-1-1 dispatchers.

We have word that Constableville was the primary Fire Department on-scene, with mutual aid thanks to West Leyden and Boonville.
