Mohawk Valley area suspect charged with operating a motor vehicle while privileges are suspended without giving proof when required

STEUBEN- A resident from the Mohawk Valley area is accused of driving while their operating privileges were suspended in Oneida County.

On Saturday evening, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested and charged Daniel J. Deoliveira Rocha, 26, of Utica, NY with one count of operating a motor vehicle (while licensed and/or registration is suspended without providing proof of financial responsibility).

According to Troopers, this charge was filed Sunday evening in the town of Steuben.

At press time, police said that Rocha was issued with an appearance ticket.
