Mohawk Valley resident charged with criminal mischief stemming from disturbance complaint in Floyd last January

FLOYD- A local resident from the Mohawk Valley is faced with a charge filed in the wake of a reported disturbance over the winter in Oneida County.

Aaron P. Armstrong, 50, of Rome, NY was arrested and charged on Wednesday by the New York State Police (Remsen) with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief (reckless property damage > $250).

According to Troopers, the arrest has been made following a disturbance investigation from last January in the town of Floyd.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, Armstrong’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
