Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Friday, February 13, 2026

Our first legitimate warm up in weeks appears to be on the horizon for this middle part of February, but will it be enough to completely ruin snowmobiling and other wintertime recreation activities?
That is the million-dollar question forecasters are debating. By the looks of it, it doesn’t look like temperatures will soar way above seasonal temperatures for this time of year, but it should certainly feel warmer than it has been.
We will keep monitoring for any major or abrupt changes to the overall trail conditions.
So far, trail systems throughout Central and Northern New York continue ranging from good to great!
Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Conditions are shaping up to be very good for the weekend.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails continue to be good shape.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Good riding reported and groomers will be out.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Very good conditions remain and groomers will be out.
Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails have been groomed this past week.
Osceola Snowmobile Association: Trails have been great!
Ohio Ridge Riders: Conditions remain good and groomers have been rolling.
Old Forge/Town of Webb: Good conditions are expected this weekend.
Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Groomers have been busy on the trails.
Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails are expected to remain excellent for the weekend!
Trackside Blazers: Groomers have been moving steady and the trails are good.
Turin Ridge Riders: Trails are expected to be busy for the holiday weekend.
Valley Snow Travelers: Upper and lower trails are in great shape!
NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
