Moose Snowmobile Trail Reports for Wednesday, December 28, 2022
Our second round of snowmobile trail reports this season. Unlike last season, this one has started off with no shortage of snowfall.
However, the forecast is unfortunately calling for a warm spell as we approach the new-year, with potential rain and temperatures likely reaching into the upper 40’s and 50’s.
With the generous amounts of snow from Mother Nature, riders have wasted no time to get some miles on. In fact, some trail systems have been open since before Christmas.
It seems as if the usual early season hazards are making their presence known (downed trees/limbs, open water holes and etc.) and our local clubs are urging riders to use caution at all times.
Here are the latest updates we have gathered:
Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Montague and Worth were groomed Tuesday. Trails are open.
Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Trails are open. 10-mile to Stillwater, Mountain Tom, Kovach and Confusion Flats are all groomed.
Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Trails are open. Stay tuned for more updates.
Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails are open and rideable. Watch for waterholes and other hazards.
