Osceola Snowmobile Association Groomer Sunset February 2026

Our first legitimate warm up in weeks appears to be on the horizon for this middle part of February, but will it be enough to completely ruin snowmobiling and other wintertime recreation activities?

That is the million-dollar question forecasters are debating.

By the looks of it, it doesn’t look like temperatures will soar way above seasonal temperatures for this time of year, but it should certainly feel warmer than it has been.

We will keep monitoring for any major or abrupt changes to the overall trail conditions.

So far, trail systems throughout Central and Northern New York continue ranging from good to great!

Here are some of the latest trail reports we’ve gathered from around the local area:

Barnes Corners Sno-Pals: Trails have been in good to very good shape!

Brantingham Snowmobile Club: Groomers have been out on the trails.

Long Pond Sno Sled Club: Good riding reported and groomers will be out.

Lost Trail Snowmobile Club: Trails remain in good shape and groomers are going out.

Missing Link Snowmobile Club: Trails have been groomed.

Osceola Snowmobile Association: Trails have been great!

Ohio Ridge Riders: Groomers have been rolling on the trails.

Old Forge/Town of Webb: Good conditions are reported.

Penn Mountain Snow Riders: Groomers have been out on the trail system.

Southern Tug Hill Sno-Riders: Trails remain in good shape!

Trackside Blazers: Trails have been groomed this week.

Turin Ridge Riders: Trails are in good shape and groomers have been out.

Valley Snow Travelers: Trails remain in excellent shape and groomers have been out.

NOTICE: Local law enforcement and snowmobile club officials are warning all riders to obey any and all rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to: respecting closed trails and staying off from private property. Police warn to never snowmobile while intoxicated or under the influence of any substance. Watch your speeds and remember to look out for and give right-of-way to groomers on the trails.
